Dear Kyle,
Thank you for these past 3 amazing years. Thank you for showing us how you could use the gift God gave you to glorify Him & shine His light. Thank you for giving everything you had while being a part of Anthem Lights.
Thank you for having such a sweet & loving personality. Thank you for never failing to show your sincere love for us fans. Thank you for everything that you do to make us feel your love and teach us that we should always shine His light in whatever we do.
As this chapter ends, another begins and I can only pray that wherever God may lead you it is all for His glory, just as you did with Anthem Lights. Watching you perform that night, it wasn’t hard to see you perform only for Him and you enjoy it, and I pray you continue to do the same in your solo career.
I must have you know this, you will be missed by many lightbulbs out there. Your personality. Your sweet sincere heart. Your kindness to fans. Your voice. Your talent. Your love for ice cream. You are definitely unforgettable. The way you display God’s love in anything you do, from performing to interacting with fans. It was so clear in your eyes that night, that God was definitely radiating His love through you, and I felt it. It was an unforgettable experience watching you perform.
Although I am sad about your departure, I am definitely excited to hear more music from you in the future & will support you. May God bless you in this new chapter of your life.:)

Five Dances

All I can say is that from the very first look at this teaser, the film quietly took hold and drew me into it. Like an embrace among passing acquaintances heading towards good friendship, it sort of pulls you into its path ever so slightly reveling the beauty of its own nature as you seek to become more familiar. First of all, I’ve always had an affinity and deep admiration for dancers and how they use their bodies to speak and communicate such things that cannot merely be said as words, but rather through expressive movement that can be transcendent and something greater than the sum of its parts.

This film feels so honest to me and I was struck by how nuanced its presentation was that it caught me off guard at first. It’s got Ryan Steele from Disney’s broadway production of Newsies as one of the lead dancers along with Jarrah Gurrie serving as editor on the film. A couple of years ago I stumbled across a director’s reel of Jarrah Gurrie set to M83 on YT that was truly unique and wonderful, which lead me to watching some of his amazing breathtaking shorts. These things coupled with the narrative of the film itself made it a must for me to help contribute and marks my first ever backing on Kickstarter.

I can’t wait to see the final product and if you’re drawn in as I was check out their project page below.
